Our Guidance Office handles everything from initial registration to assisting our 8th graders in their transition to SHS.  At SMS we strive to provide the best services to our students and their families from the moment your child enters.  In addition to managing registrations and student schedules, this office handles student honors, personal counseling, large group counseling, small group counseling and community interactions intended to provide strong support for "our kids" as they make the transition from childhood to adolescence.

We want our children to be prepared academically, socially, and emotionally for the world of High School when they leave us at the end of 8th grade.  Providing Guidance in these areas is the number one priority for this office.  Students are welcome at any time to discuss any concerns or difficulties that may arise in day-to-day school life.
